    Fitting Witor front springs

Guys I've got another question .
I'm fitting a pair of lower progressive springs from Chris Witor to the front of my stag and I've notice that the springs are wound tighter at one end . Does it matter which way round they go on ? On Witors website the picture shows the spring standing on the loose wound end . I haven't got the legs off yet because I need to turn the car round and the battery is flat .DOH !! So I can't see how the others are fitted, plus they are the old standard springs and I think they are the same either way .
    Thanks Steve .

On road springs it would make hardly any difference which way. I have seen them either way round.

hi Steve , I would be inclined to seek a professional opinion from the seller i.e.. chris wittor he is extremely knowledgeable and sells the stuff he uses on performance enhanced cars . then you've got no issues and are only going to fit them once .

        Hi Steve,
As Steve has mentioned, just give Chris a call or drop him an email - he is very helpful,

I bought progressives from Monarch Stags and Ian said either way up is fine.
I'd still suggest putting the coil ends inboard to ensure there's no knocking on the strut tower.
