Which fuse runs the fuel pump ?

Either my fuel pump has packed up or i am missing something i think !!

I tried starting the Stag up on Saturday as i haven't had time to start her up for a while but I couldn't get the fuel pump to work!!

She turns over fine but no fuel is getting pumped up - I even gave the pump a clump with a hammer thinking that that it may have seized but still nothing!

I then tried running a live feed to the pump from the battery but again still nothing and i also changed all the fuses in the fuse box as some them were a bit cruddy and tried the fuel cut off switch under the bonnet as well.

Like the ignition circuit (white) the pump is unfused. Your pump is kanackered.

Cheers for the quick reply Chris

I thought it may be the pump is knackered - it was a new one on the car as well according to Faversham's who i bought the car off.

I'll give Trevor a quick call i think.

Next question then is, has anyone got a spare working fuel pump they want to sell please ?

If it is a points type pump, you could always try cleaning the points up before giving up on your existing pump.
Header tanks - you can't beat a bit of bling.

            That's a good idea Wilf

i think it was replaced by Faversham's and it looks quite new as well
The car has sat for a few months now so i will give that a go

Falling that Robsport just quoted me £69.00 for an electronic pump for it.

I don't use the stag but want to keep her up and running still though

I fitted one from LD Part as have many others. They seem to be very good.

You say you ran a gash wire down, but did you check the pump earth, or before faffing with wires, the inertia switch hadn't tripped or corroded?

I think i may give the LD Parts one a go - will try and clean the point on my existing one first however
