Rocker covers

I want to re paint my rocker covers , can I use normal spray or do I have to use heat resistant paint ?

We in the Stag fraternity do not refer to our cam covers as rocker covers since we have OHC engines, which are of course vasty superior to pushrod engines old chap. After all one does not want to lower the standards.

One could use normal paint as ones cam covers do not get very hot. Toodle pip.

PS: I was wondering what they would look like in satin chrome?

Have a look at mine under Cool Air Intake Filter in the traders section mine are powder coated chrome effect or satin chrome i like the look

Yeah they look good , not sure about the air box , bit to much for my taste tho

need the air box to feed cool air into the holley Carb.

Mine are nearly finished just my new gauze inner to add . I needed a steady hand to paint the triumph but i,m pleased with the resuts . This is powder coat chrome .
