Advise on auto box oil cooler pipes

Still trying to get some sort of paint off my battery boxP1050184.jpg and will be painting this and the inner wing in the body colour, My question is, the oil cooler pipes, if i detatchP1050181.jpg them from the cooler, will i be able to move them up out of the way on the flexi pipesP1050183.jpg or will i have to remove them totally, I want to paint the inner wing/engine bay in sections loosing the edges in the seams down the leg turrets.

You learn something new every day. I always wondered what them holes on the inner wing were for. Having a non special needs car there is no clip in them on mine

Watch out that bug still hasn't got a sting when you remove the clip.

Glad i could help, was hoping someone would say , "yes just undo them at the front and swing them up out of the way then paint what you what"
