If I had known Nick suffered from Parkinsons I wouldn't have let him anywhere near my camshaft.

It took 30 minutes to change the newly fabricated shims to suit my new Jaguar cam profile. Then butter fingers drops a washer into the oil gallery and after much fiddling around with wires and magnets we decided to turn an entire TV8 engine and gearbox assembly upside down and shake it like a money box.

Mission accomplished. The washer slipped out when no one was looking. Along with 2 nuts, 4 screws and a half eaten toasted ham sandwhich.

Sorry, didn't mean to ruin the quiz. As a humble apology please accept this quiz as a replacement.

In the above photo is a plastic container containing fluid and a bed sheet which has been soaked from mopping the floor.

Is the wet substance:-

A. Brake fluid.

B Coolant from the engine block which at no time ever expected to be turned upside down without the car being in a ditch.

C. Immediate loss of my body fluids after Michael J Fox here admitted to dropping a washer in the engine.

As a matter of interest does anyone know where the rear oil gallery from the back of the cam drains to? If you drop a washer down it will it get past the head gasket?
