Jersey Stag?

Whilst removing seat cover from the Stag,I came across a Jersey pound note with a message written on the back.
It is worth digging deep into the map pockets after all..
I was told by the previous owner that it came from Jersey,having spent the 1st 7 years of it's life there.
A little googling and it looks like this note was from between 1993 and 2000.
The original Jersey number plate was J50086.
Can anyone shed anymore light on this little mystery--see photos

My Stag also came from Jersey (J5400). It was supplied by St Helier Garages, Bath Street, Jersey (think it's a WH Smith now!). It stayed with the first owner until he passed away in 1994. His widow didn't want to sell it to anyone on the island in case she saw it so a friend bought it off her in the UK.
Didn't find any hidden cash though! Mind you I did find £20 under the spare wheel in a Mondeo I once owned.

Had an email from the previous owner who said
''The note must be to do with the couple who divorced, sadly in the end she sold the car for a really low price to the owner before me just to clear her garage and get back at the ex husband.''
So it wasn't a forever love as the writer had hoped for,shame.
Anyway it makes it a little more interesting doesn't it.
