Still undecided, still really not confident after recent events e.g. rebuilding my gearbox and the car throwing up all the engine oil I lovingly put inher last week.

It's going to be a 300 mile round trip if I do go, so will be a good test.

Just thinking aloud really and could do with some encouragement...

Okay, you've convinced me, and the car was running fine today (I'll ignore the fact that the battery was flat this morning!), and I shall be heading to Bewdley tomorrow.

Mike if you're comming M40, M42 and come through Blakedown (stourbridge junction), do 30MPH as there is normally a mibile camera in a slight dip just before the dual carraigeway out of Blakedown

Well I went ... and I got back. No major problems, a few minor ones that I need to sort out, 320 mile round trip in the end.

Bought some nice shiny bits, Bos screen, MK1 badge set, not so shiny bits, soft top rubber seals, K&N filter

It wasvery enjoyable day, good to meet some of you guys, and just so greatgetting to usethe car (first long trip).
