i know, i know, the Hewson household is very early this year but the xmas decorations went up today. My son so excited so we are making the most of it while he still young(48). joke he is nine.probably put some kind of curse on us for being November.

Nooooooooooo ! only joking. I try to at least stay in December. I spent the last few years dressing up as Santa walking down our road just to see the faces of my daughters light up. By the time they were 13 they cottoned on well lots of time before I think they knew I enjoyed it more than them

Many years ago when my son was about 3 1/2 ( he is 31 now) a friend of mine used to dress up as Santa and used to go round with his pickup truck standing in a chimney and roof in the back waving, playing carols, while others went door to door collecting for the local Mencap .My son was just ready for bed in his Jim Jams I held him up at the open front door and my friend called out hello David and waved . The look on his face of shock and him saying he knows my name, will live with me for ever , my friend said if he had known he would be up he would have bought him a present . you cannot buy those moments Magic
