    Paddocks

    Over a couple of weeks ago I ordered some parts from Paddocks to be delivered to my son in Chester so that I could bring them back with me when I went over.
    No sign of parts & no acknowledgement of order so I emailed again several days ago and still no reply.
    Have they shut for the Xmas period or is there a problem. Been using the same order email address as I have always used.
    I know a number of you live in and around Chester and use Paddocks - can you enlighten me please?.

    I ordered some parts last Friday,delivered today before 10.30 am...
    give them a call..

        Hi Terry

        I think they close on Thursday for Christmas so all should be ok. This is the email address I use:

        parts@jamespaddock.co.uk

        They also have: despach@jamespaddock.co.uk

        Hope they are still open as I want to call in tomorrow after work...!

          Hi Terry! last me say first off that I think Paddocks are really good at shipping stuff to me. Only negative thing I have found a couple of times is that orders by email sometimes get don't get picked up and processed properly. Website and phone work just fine.

            I called in last Wednesday and all was well. If you're stuck I can call for you either Wednesday or Thursday and pick the parts up for you, I can also take them to your lads house if needed,

            I can come home from work past their shop and I'm only a few miles from broughton

            Happy to help if I can but I'd need 24 hours notice to plan my journey home after work

              The email address quoted by Gresley is the one I have always used but to which I am not currently getting a response.
              Will ring them tomorrow to see what the situation is. Never had a problem in the past - only now.
              Thanks for all your replies - might get my son who lives in Chester to pop round if I don't get any joy on the phone.

              To all you Chesterites if the fair is still on at the Racecourse can recommend a visit. Got some lovely cheese there which I brought home with me and the Burger tasted good that we had at the Hot Dog stand. Two of my Granddaughters that I went with loved the rides, and my son didn't have to pay for Parking as a kind lady who was just leaving handed over her Parking ticket which still had nearly 2 hours to go - so there are still some good people around.

                Rang Paddocks today - It appears all my emails have gone into their "Junk" folder and Graham missed spotting mine & extricating it.
                Rather than an email it appears you are better using their on-line Website and ordering through there.
                Parts now on there way to my son's house.
                Thanks again for offers of help.

                  These days you can't assume your email gets through. Most of our customers are getting so much spam we are having to use increasingly aggressive spam filtering techniques. The downside of this is sometimes legitimate mail gets blocked but the alternative is a system so overwhelmed with Spam, people miss important emails anyway.

                    I always use their on line order site and always get the parts really pronto' cannot fault them
