Hi I had some problems with tick over lately took my car to some racing tuners in Watford all sorted and very cheap & so helpful a father and son business so if in herts area check them out spinks tuning a enthusiastic couple.

Not having the benefit of any Stag carb tuning specialists on the Island, I tackled the job myself today after suffering a recent misfire and poor running over the last couple of weeks. Found a link between the 2 Strombergs was the wrong length - so corrected that, then removed and cleaned the pistons and weakened the mixture by a full turn (left) on each one (because the old plugs showed signs of carbon fouling) . Put it back together and "Hey Presto" started straight away and sounded much better, so went for a quick blast and he/she ran really well, no more misfire and a perfect tickover. Gave myself a pat on the back for that, now got to sort out a window mechanism problem on the wife's Honda.Comment

Got mine done at Robsports in the end very Profesional did a superb job fairly reasonable as well.
