    AA grill badge question

My 77 Stag came to New Zealand from Bagshot. It was there from 1989 until just before it was deported to the colonies in '96. Its British number plate VGV152S is still visible etched on each window.

The Heritage Trust certificate lists it's original dealer as Mann Egerton & co, Ipswich.

So, I'd like a British AA grill badge for it.

Can any of you tell me, do the grill badges have a city stamp in the metal? And if so, what city/region should I go for?

And is there any particular grill badge features that I need to check to get one that is the right era for the car?

    Thanks
    Biddy

    Hi Biddy,

All the info you need is here http://www.theaa.com/motoring_advice...aa/badges.html

This is the type of badge you should be looking for http://ts3.mm.bing.net/th?id=H.50638...38586&pid=15.1

No need to worry about numbers / city names etc.

    Regards,
