Feliz Ano Nuevo (Happy New Year) to everyone, 2014 is a Leap Year, lets hope it's also a leap in the right direction for all of us.
Only one Friday the 13th next year (in June) so let's hope all other days are good ones.
For Tenerifos tomorrow is only the start of a week long of celebrations as Canarian's main day of celebration is the evening of January 5th (3 King's Day), when there is a big parade with the 3 Kings on Camels followed by Fireworks. Usually we get a Stag amongst the parade vehicles.
January the 6th (a Bank Holiday - the equivalent of Xmas Day in the U.K.) also happens to be our 40th Wedding Anniversary, so going to have to pace myself for the next 7 days.

Sorry Terry but we had the Olympic Games in 2012, a leap year. So the next summer Olympics in Brazil, and the next leap year will be 2016. Congratulations on your 40th. Wedding Anniversary.

We were celebrating a belated Christmas with our son and daughter in law (and other son and fiancee) last night so I've only just seen this.

This Forum has helped a lot with the enjoyment and minor fettling of my 'new' car. Looking forward to some sunny days in 2014.

My car will be 'in yellow' for the Tour de France as it passes by this July!
