I'm at the workshop greasing my shafts .After doing a little research I'm using the correct grease .What worries me is the hydraulic effect I'm getting when the shaft goes in and out. It seems to me a air escape would help these shafts move in and out more freely . Is this something anyone has thought about.
Fitting a grease nipple seems to only give more hydraulic resistance by filling the cavity with grease . Am I applying to much grease .I'm only coating the surfaces but its acting like a air tight seal. Any help would be great
