I have just been reading a report in ccw ,urging al petrol heads /motorsport enthusiasts to sign the petition to help save the uk,s longest running motorsport event !! this has a history over 100 years and now the interfering twits in the council green party want it done with in the interest of safety because of a fatal accident last year . but is not all sport dangerous me thinks they are hiding behind this to kill of motorsports in general .so if we value our hobby and sport we should sign the petition the dead line I believe is the 23 January before the decision is made . we need to stop this loony brigade from nannying us its probably the same lot who want to stop grandparents kissing their grandchildren ! what's going on????

I only ever visit Brighton when I finish the London to Brighton bike ride in support of the BHF (and I'm certainly not speeding then )
but I just hate the spoilsport killjoys.

Signed it a couple of weeks ago, Green party ugh, they have brought Brighton to a standstill with their bike lanes everywhere and 20mph speed limits.

Brightons green party claim they are not anti-car,
They have introduced a blanket 20mph limit in Brighton. They have put up the meter parking on the seafront to £20 a day.
At the primary school were we drop our kids of in the morning, the minimum parking has gone up from 20p to a £1, the parking warden waits there in the morning and if you just
walk your child to the school gate he will give you a parking ticket if you haven't paid.
The council has written to the Speed trial organisers and told them not to even bother applying for a licence application this year. I believe they think that if the can block the 99th Speed trial and next years centenary that will be it over for good.
I hope a petition request goes up on piston Heads also, if it hasn't already.
