Stromberg overflow tube leaking fuel

Driving the car on the weekend for a few miles, pulling up on the driveway, I checked under the bonnet and noticed a small drip of fuel from the fuel overflow tube at the front of the engine. I also noticed that the anti roll bar paint was pealing a little, so I think this has been happening for a while.

Does anyone know what is likely to be causing this and how I can fix it?

Usually a sticking needle valve in the carb,or float level too high causing the overflow..

Thanks Sam. the needles seem to be OK, so I will need to check the float height.

Sam means the float needle valves not the needle in the piston. Confusing terminology I know, really they should be called simply float valves, except other than SU and Strombergs carbs, I don't think any other carb have a mixture needle..
