Jason
I know what you mean Jason, yesterday Iflashed my lights for a yellow Stag to turn across me in Great Whitley (Private plate anyone on here?) and the proceeded to wave forgeting I was in my red mondeo!!!
It always amazes me how many Stags you see around your local area but never see them at any meetings, shows etc.:?
Considering ND was local this year I know of 2 local Stags that were not there.
Saw a lovely saffron yellow Stag thundering down the A45 in Coventry yesterday evening. Thought someone had stolen mine, then realised I was working on it!
Also seen a couple around Nuneaton during office hours.
Saw two yesterday, the first was a green (Java?) one heading north from Marden towards Maidstone, I was going in the opposite direction in mine, only managed a quick headlight flash as we were both going at a reasonable speed around a corner, the other was a blue one, but this was one that I know and as I was in the local Pub garden, it was more heard than seen through the hedge.
It was a nice day for the Stags to be out, according to the Daily Mail yesterday there were plenty in Richmond Park as well!
It must be the sun bringing them out, I sawa blue onethe day before yesterday at the top of the A34, in the layby, boot and bonnet open (oh dear) and a red one yesterday, travelling West on the A14 out Cambridge way, and a French blue one in my garage, oh yeah, that's mine!
Got the colour wrong, saw it again today going south out of Marden towards Goudhurst - it's BRG I think, WHO ARE YOU? - Are you out there?
I got a flash and a wave this time as we thundered past each other - was a nice day for a run to Ashford and back, bit expensive though, holiday clothes and wedding apparel for the wife. (Daughters wedding later this year)
Anyone here own up to being in Normandy last Saturday? I passed a white Stag coming the other way passing through a small village somewhere close to the Brittany/Normandy border.
