        Welcome.

Have you found the Cars For Sale section on the main website. There is a red one in Cheshire, Inca Yellow and Brown Stags in Worcestershire and a Tahiti one in W. Yorkshire. All within reasonable travelling distance of Cumbria.

Welcome to the club and the forum.

There is a useful buyers guide on the main website if you haven't found it already. http://www.stag.org.uk/index.aspx?pid=18

But it can be really useful to see if one of the members in your area can go with you to look at the car. Many have restored these cars and know exactly what to watch out for.

          Kind regards
          Ian

Yes, going to look at the Cheshire one today.

I like the Tahiti Blue in W Yorks but a little more than I wanted to pay unfortunately.

If you're up near Carlisle, you can spend a bit of time with mine which will give you an idea of what to expect and what to, perhaps, avoid. Obviously we would have to take it out for a blast!
                    Good luck

Hi Les. Rear bulb holders are notoriously rubbish, even new ones I have come across dont work. I now repair the old ones by soldering the earth spring contact to the body if thats any help?

PS: Best to start your own thread to get more help.
                            Cheers

                              Hi Les,

Welcome to the Forum, although I'd agree with Chris that it'll probably be best for you if you start a new post.

With those electrics not working it could be all sorts of things but one thing I'd mention is that the hazard switch, when operated, interrupts the feed to the normal indicators. It would be worth checking that the hazard switch is fully returned and that the feed to the indicators is re-established.

                              Good luck

                              Cheers

                              Julian
