    Phonetic Alphabet Mood Lightener

    I must admit to being a little depressed reading some of the recent posts where members of our Club have been having a go at each other.
    I have refrained from making on any comments on them as I think it would be totally pointless.

    In an attempt to lighten things up a little, perhaps a little ironically, in a reply to Staggards “Doom & Gloom” thread I made a reference to the phonetic alphabet, which made we wonder if we as Stag owners could come up with our own phonetic alphabet that suitably described our pride and joy.

    My literarery abilities are rather limited, as I only managed an “O” level in English Language and Literature, and failed Latin, but I did leave Grammar School straight afterwards to go to work in a Bank to get some money in my pocket.

    My initial rather feeble attempts on the subject are as follows – and I am sure that the more well educated amongst you can come up with some better alternatives, and let me say at the outset that I shan't be offended at any criticism of my efforts, or this post.

    Anyway a first attempt to produce a 2 word phonetic alphabet for the Stag (with options) appears below, but at the moment I can't think of anything for the letter “X”. There are one or two gaps which I am sure someone will be able to fill in, and at least it might take your mind off other things. Any answers you give might also give an insight into how your mind works, and as a result it might help someone replying to one of your posts in the future to word it in a way that it is less likely to be misinterpreted.

    STAG PHONETIC ALPHABET:

    A – Always Admired / Awesome Automobile; B – Beautiful Body / Better than a Beamer;
    C – Classic Cruiser / Cool Car; D – Dogs Dinner / Desireable Delinquent;
    E– Endless Expense / Exquisite Engine;F – Family Friendly / Fabulous Folly;
    G – Grumpy Gearbox / Gorgeously Gallant; H – Habitual Heartbreaker / Happy Holidaymaker;
    I – Imposing Idiosyncratic / Irresistable Icon; J – Joyous Jewel / Justifiable Junky;

    K– Kilometer Killer / Knowlingly Kinky; L – Labour of Love / Lustful Lady /Longlasting Liability
    M – Michelloti Masterpiece / Money Machine; N – Noisy Neurotic / Neverending Nightmare;
    O – Obsessive Ownership / One Off; P– Provocatively Persuasive / Powerfully Promiscuous;

    X

    Just a bit of nonsense I know - but does no harm and makes you think about how you really feel about your car,
    and may take your mind off other things and relieve a bit of tension.
