.... and for the pedants, the two Stags I have bits from show that there are two different plates!! One side with two holes and one side with only the central hole. The cable loom to the T-Bar only passes through one of the B-Pillars. Obviously a period in history and a low production quantity of handmade items where an additional hole cost more than having to keep stocks of two different items!
On all the cars I've worked on the T bar bolts directly to the top of ther B post, so these are some form of 'washer' then are they ? Are they metal ?
Btw It is the right hand side that the three wires for the roof light come up, on mk 2 cars and if you're ever working on one, be aware that the black wire is not n earth, it is a 12v feed
I don't think I've got these on mine either, but I have never fully unbolted the T bar - only enough to change out the hard top rear window connectors!
