Earth lead connection

Iam about to refit my Earth lead, it has a green and yellow spur to attach to the engine, can anybody tell me the precise location to bolt it to please?

Hi Nambo,
I was replacing my alternator belt yesterday and saw the earth connection bolted to the engine just under the alternator.

I think any of the bolts on the front will work and (unlike mine which I just replaced with a lead with 2 earth points ) it also needs to be fixed to the body (inner wing usually)

My earth lead runs from the battery and is attached to the inner wing with a p clip and then bolts to the back of the power steering pump.

as long as engine and body are earthed you should be ok,if the engine is not earthed it can lead to the wiring lead overheating /catching fire due to high resistance caused for earth and or running /starting/charging problems
