I hope its not overpriced as its very similar to my modified car which is waiting patiently at the paintshop for its new covering of 2 pack..
I love it,the only downside is its looks like it should be in California not wet old GB

I guess if you dont do the work yourself the modified parts and labour costs,plus paint job would soon rack up..maybe £35k a bit steep though..

I like the wheels, has anyone got experience of running their Stag on 17" wheels?

I contacted the owner via eBay and he said that the car is in storage at the moment however when he gets up there he will take some more photos and also a video and post on eBay.

Overpriced? Here in Germany € 19' to 20' is the price for a first class standard Stag!

Ah, thank you Klaus. I agree. There are even cars on sale for 29' euros. But I think that is because of the lower number of left hookers made and preserved and the fact that conversion is not straightforward...

At least I hope that is all true, given the budget on my stag project....

if that is the kind of Stag you would like to have i'd say it isn't over-priced at all, it would eat money while you built it yourself!

I think it looks god awful IMHO,I've no issues with updating a classic for ease of use or safety issues but if you're going to update it to look contemporary why not just buy a modern reliable,comfortable,economical and practical car, like a TVR !

I lurv the fact that a modded Stag has all those numbers next to its price tag!! Roll on the day mine's worth that! currently have mine valued at just about half that and that does not reflect what I've spent on it! Even if you ignore the hours!

I have a work colleague who has just bought a TVR.. (actually two guys have done that here but just one most recently..) he has to keep a cover on it to keep some rain out..
Not so reliable either ECU problems when its wet (great for him at present!) He enjoys it though so that's what matters.
