Quite possibly a horrible, horrible engine.. the Chevy v6 is common enough, I've seen them in TR6's as well - although who knows why. The 3 litre and 4.3 litre are both astoundingly heavy, which "affects" the handling somewhat.
On the other hand, it'll go for not-very-much money, and aside from the evil under the bonnet looks like a very nice Stag.
I had a Ford v6-engined Stag years ago.. it was a good introduction to the car, even if it was no more reliable than the v8!
