With the 'offensive' joke removed why was the rest of the thread closed? There were several other comments post the 'offending' joke that seemed to be giving an opinion. How where they on the wrong side of the 'law'? Just interested...

Seems a fine line to me between deciding whether something breaks the rules or is an expression of opinion. When we start banning things because people express an opinion that in itself does not break the rules, then we really get into deep water.Comment

Talking of deep water. The Somerset levels have been flooded for weeks and nothing gets done until the Ministers are publicly shamed into action. Yet the Thames Valley starts to get threatened and the Army and Navy are called into action immediately.
