Old, jealous or both

My daughter is now a full on teenager. 9.50 in the morning and still fast asleep.

I, on the other hand, woke earlier than I wanted to (again) and would love to have the option and the abilitysleep for 12 hours.

I cant decide if I am just old, jealous or a bit of both.

I'm at the opposite end of the scale with 2 young daughters who wake me up long before i have to get upfor work, roll on 10 years time when i can get some pay back, not that icomplianingto muchthey both love the stag andlove helping in the garage.

When i was making a dolls house for them i had to buy a model stag to put in the garage.

I'm in the same boat. I still have the ability to sleep for 12 hours, just not the opportunity.

i find for every year they get older they stay in bed 1/2 an hour longer,by the time thier teenagers you need a nail bar to get them out of bed!

Count your blessings, my 4 year old has taken to getting up as early as 5.30am, suffice to say I don't get up that early!
