Does anyone have

a source for the Mills pin 111215 that locks the planet gear crosspin into the diff carrier? As you are aware you have to destroy them to get the crosspin out, and wondered if anyone has found a source as the usual suspects seem to say No Longer Supplied.

Otherwise I'll have to make one

Have you tried Mick Dolphin, he's got lots of NLA parts, he's worth a call as he doesn't list all the parts he has available. Hope this helps.

I have some very serious backlash in my 3.45 and I am amassing the parts to do an out, rebuild as required and back in the car in a day - luckily it's not whiney, but boy does it clang when I select R when on choke!

Do you have the pin size Russ. We have some here at work that are grooved pins... if that's the sort of thing you need. They will be metric though..

I didn't have to damage mine to get it out and i re-used it. I just put it back in and slightly peened over the end as it was when I took it out. Mine was a 2.5 estate diff though so the Stag one might be different.

Are you sure you need to replace it?

Don't know if Quaiffe could help you out Russ, they have loads of bits there, but might only be for their own use. Not too far from you either.
