Stag has had 2 previous owners and nearly unused in last 20 yrs when I got it.
In the history file shows at least x2 choke cables had been replaced ?
When Stag was in a garage for some paint work touch up found choke cable jammed inn and the cable was broke from the knob bar assembly ?
Nether knew why this had happened but replaced with new from Rimmers and re-routed it as with previous one.
Now about 8 wks later found it jammed again so inspected and could see that the cable had managed to tuck itself under manifold and burn outer cable and jamming inner cable.
This I now believe may have happened with previous.
Just looked at a friends MK1 Stag and can see his choke cable is routed in the top hole from engine bulkhead to inside of car whereas mine is blanked off ( looks like original Triumph ) and uses the bottom one ????
