Its looking good Bruce! Get plenty of Dinitrol into it while it is dismantled (after any paintwork is finished). Expensive, but it seems to cover very well.

            Hi Bruce

Yes I have taken plenty of photos and all the wiring is labelled. Plus if I do miss anything I can capture it when I get around to dismantling the other car as I transfer parts across.

            Regards

              Hi All

Can anyone give me some good tips on how to remove the adhesive residue from the floorpans and cills? Warm water and detergent combined with vigorous scrubbing has only been partially successful.

              Any tips?

              Regards

              Bruce

From my limited experience, white spirt seems to shift everything except paint! Which is kinda handy

Thanks for the tip. I spent several hours this afternoon using white spirit and it works provided you combine it with plentyof elbow grease. The only problem was the combination of warm sunshine with the smell of white spirit! I took the dog for a walk across the fields afterwards just to try and get rid of the smell.

                  Cheers

I might have to report you to the RSPCA or have I got the wrong end of the stick?

Bruce, panel wipe is good for removing adhesive, you'll need to get it from trade motor factors though, I dont think Halfords sell it. I think frost restorations do.
