Stolen stag

Regrettably one of my first duties is to report a stolen car. Mimosa Stag SRW267M was stolen from a locked compound in Bedworth Warwickshire last night. It was having its brakes overhauled.

Believed to have been lifted onto a flat bed truck.

Body work good but not immaculate, auto, TV8 and hardtop fitted.

Distinguishing marks are 2 sets of side stripes, Stainless Steel cill covers but of a squarer section than standard.

Coincidentally an article should be published in the imminent Feb mag about the car and owner who has owned the car for 34 years.

If anyone spots it please contact either the owner on jmitsawrap@gmail.com or myself.

Worth keeping our eyes peeled at Stoneleigh on Sunday.

I would also be checking any "needing restoration"yellow cars already for sale or that come up for sale.
We all know how easily the identity of a Stag can be changed..
I would know my car even with a different reg and chassis number.
In fact to be doubly sure I have been stamping various components with the reg number as it gets put back together..

i thought about putting in the members section but decided against it, as visibility would be much less. Quite likely to be offered to a non SOC member who is lurking on the forum. I take your point though but thought the benefits outweighed the risk.
