Anybody on here have VBO696J Magenta stag, this is the first stag that I tried to buy a 71 manual, just wondered if any one was restoring it, the man that sold it lives opposite me, he had it for close to 30 yrs, .

If it was all original it wouldn't have been Magenta as the colour didn't arrive until 1973.
Could it have been Damson?
I've tried unsuccessfully this way to trace my previous Stags,but good luck..

Sorry Martin, I can't really help you with your hunt, however I used to have a fairly rare Volvo - it was a 142S which meant two doors and twin carbs.
The number was OBO 980 G and from that I know that the letters 'BO' came originally from Cardiff.
