So you are going on the Pull then Kryten with the old ladies hope they buy the chips and ice cream then a romantic burn up a long the sea front and home Ahhhhhhhhhhh such and old romantic . Me I am going out for a ride in the Suffolk countryside to get away from those damn born again mid life crisis fine weather Sunday bikers that are going by my house in droves.
Derek
I'm sure my young wife, currently with me in Brighton, would have something to say about that Derek..... my kids may object too as the Stag only seats 4 and granny would be supernumery....
I don't know if this makes Stag Paranoia better or worse!!!!
After treating the Stag to some fuel I went for a drive around, as you do. I noticed the rev counter and temp gauge weren't working ( I had taken the dash out last week so a wire off I guess) So not having a temperature gauge to constantly look at I think I worried slightly less. What do you think.
You did not say you were taking the family Kryten that could have been a squeeze with granny moaning in the back. I did about 30 miles around the country lanes with an 80 year old granny customer so I pulled I win .She is a customer who lives on her own she jumped at the chance for a Sunday afternoon drive. It was so warm if I had not got the hard top on I would have had the top down. Saw lots of classic a Pontiac GTO drop head with the top down a very old Beetle and a White Stag in Earls Colne was it you?
Phil am I missing something how did you fit those side windows in the rear they look like the hardtop side windows or am I covering old ground
Derek
Yes they are hard top side windows. funnily enough it was Russ (Kryten) who showed the way. If you look at he explains how so well that even I managed it. Hardtop windows as side screens
I think regarding Stags were all covering old ground aren't we?
Hi all.
Had a nice trip out along the coast Gt Yarmouth, Lowestoft and finished up in Dunwich on the Suffolk coat where we had fish and chips and a pot of tea for two. Around 120 mile round trip and the stag is performing brilliantly. It seems to get better the more I use it.
Cheers Rob.
