When I was Stag hunting, I viewed a car that at some time had been stripped and painted body colour underneath. However, there were rust pits all over it and it looked horrible and obviously did not last long - I assume there being no underbody coating applied. the rest of the car looked really good. If this green one was done in 1992, then it must have been well done.

I did mine with undercoat then stone chip then top coat; otherwise I imagine it would chip really badly.

According to the advert and the odometer it's only done just over 1500 miles. Was it reset following the restoration? If so, it should still be good as long as it's been stored properly.

A guy named Graham Munt works for that garage, he used to own Surrey Stags if anybody remembers them. He knew his way around Stags, so they might be OK.
