Holley Carb economy

I've been checking the economy since re-fitting the Holley, correctly jetted and with the PCV valve installed - I'm now getting 26 MPG on a tank spread over town driving at one end of the scale and some fast motorway use at the other end.
Pretty pleased with that and that since fitting the PCV with the catch tank it runs one heck of a lot better and cleaner - e.g no oily smells or exhaust fumes from unburnt petrol which was a past problem,

So I'll be keeping the Holley now for good!

that's good mike im hoping I can get mine near that ,its not critical but but you've given me a target now .ive just got a set of blue gaskets and new smaller jets so need to change them out soon.

I have even suprised myself Sam and Steve, it's such an easy job to change the jets on the Holley - so much more than messing with Stroms with all that pipework, cables, linkages etc., etc.,
