    Shock absorber options

I need to replace my rear shock absorbers following snapping one while out today.

Does anyone have experience with different ones availible???

I would like to upgrade from standard and my options seem to be:

KYB option from paddocks at £45 each

Spax shock that LD part sells at £90

Personally like the idea of the Spax being adjustable to my own liking but just seeing what other people think.

    Cheers,

    hi
I replaced my rear shocks and chose to go with KYB , I have found them to be very good, I cant speak about Spax but sometimes I hear people say the ride can be a bit hard , only hearsay !

      Hi James,

I've had Spax all round for years, fully adjustable and still perfect plus Monarchs standard height progressive springs.

      Cheers

Had Gas-a-Just from Paddocks on the rear of both my Stags and they've been fine. Re painted the ones on this Stag black before refitting them after the refurb. The name seems to indicate that they are adjustable, but they aren't.

I have had Spax adjustable shocks on the rear for years. Have had no trouble with them at all.

Maybe they should be called Just-a-Gas then Dave

I also have KYB and have been very pleased with them. I also have them on the front.
