Hi i have a narrow piece of wire that runs from the carbs to the distributer with angled rubber push on fittings, can i buy a new piece and if so what do they call it??, Thank you Martin
only if it is bent so the pipe restricts what little air passes through it or split will it upset the vacuum advance of the distributor. You can check by disconnecting it at one end and while running the car at 1500 rpm, if there is no noticeable difference in revs then it is probably broken and should be replaced - Rimmers, Paddocks, LD Parts all sell this thin tube.
