MoD wiring

Hi all. I am trying to wire up the gearbox before l put it on the car.
The car is a fed model but the box a UK one. I have both new looms, it seems that for the Fed. wiring its missing a switch and for both I have no idea how it completely wires up. 2 wires to reversing light switch, where does that third 1 go ? and 2 to the OD switch (Fed 1 has some extra green wires that seem to need that third switch). Im guessing that the
OD switch on the gearstick fixes to the car loom as it doesn't fit the gearbox loom.

If I remember Correctly the two green wires go to and from reverse light switch which is the switch on the side of the gearbox. The other wire yellow/pink is for the overdrive and connects to the overdrive switch on top of gearbox from there a wire yellow /pink goes to the overdrive solenoid and than a wire takes it to ground

Just to add if you still have a wire over it maybe your car was an automatic to begin with and the extra wire is neutral start only switch.

Hi,

The two green wires are indeed for the reverselights of a autobox Stag. They are connected to the inhibitor switch.

Update......The extra green wires are for the Fed. starter inhibiter, seems it joins up with the seatbelt warning and ignition warner. There must be a third switch on the Fed. manual gearbox.
