I have posted about this before but I thought I'd post a pic of a fake and a real NGK spark plug so people know what sort of thing to look for. These fakes have been known to fall aprt inside the bore causing severe damage so if you think you have them get them changed now!

Lower one is the fake, note wrong colour of passivation, NGK logo not central between first ridge in ceramic and top of metal hex nut.
I replaced mine and the car runs much better. (I wasnt driving it on the fake plugs luckily!)
