    rear seat back fastening

hi all i,ve seen a few previous posts where people have secured the rear seat back by keyhole drilling the back but I found if you secure it in place with tiewraps around the top mounting brackets, then around the seat support frame if the tonneau cover wire snaps you can just give the seat a good hard tug and the tiewraps snap allowing access to the catch----no need for drilling and if the mot tester gives it a tug it stays in place, hope it helps somebody as it has worked on my stag

I'm still looking to sort out mine and that might just work for me. Perhaps coupled with the Velcro idea.

It's just getting round to doing these jobs. I shouldn't have all these projects in at the same time. Perhaps one day I'll catch up.

You need to get the car the right way up first, it's bound to be more difficult working above your head all the time

That's what I've been doing wrong!

Thanks Graham but the Velcro is too strong to get it down again.
