    pdwa switch

Just replaced my PDWA switch with a new one as the other was leaking fluid, now the new one leaks, I have'nt got the male fitted as the PO undid it and it rested against the exhaust and it melted, so I need to buy a new one, is it normal for the switch to leak or am I doing something wrong does it need the male to stop it leaking . Or could I take it off and blank it?.

    Hi fedex.
The actuator is leaking so needs to be replaiced or rebuilt. The switch should not ever be in contact with the fluid, so the seals are bu....d.
    Good luck

its a simple reseal job. A couple of tiny orings on a poppet. Costs just a few quid from Paddocks so its worth trying to do the job rather than replacing the whole thing.

If you do a search on here, you'll find a photo that Drew (Dasadrew) posted some time ago showing all the parts of the PDWA that may help.

        Cheers
