    Auto shift Handel

Does anyone know how you remove this from the shaft, the T bit I've tried most things, don't want to put much pressure on it in case I damage it all. I thought that it would simply unscrew, but have been unsuccessful. Any help suggestions greatfully received.
    Thanks.
    Duncan.

    Hi Duncan
from memory as I am away at the moment isn't there a small grub screw at the rear of the handle which locks it in place ?
i know I took mine off to refit the interior without any issue
ill have a look tonight of no one else comes along with the answer

    cheers glyn

Not a grub screw, just a hole. Get an Allen key which is a snug fit in the hole and put the short end in. Hold the collar steady and unscrew the T-handle. Make sure it is a good quality Allen key, not one left over from assembling flat-pack furniture.......

I removed mine yesterday it was tight but I just turned it anti clockwise and it unscrewed but I did have to use quiet a bit of force
