That reminds me of when I needed 3 scaffold poles.
I drove to the yard and the fella says, "how are you going to get these home in that little yellow car?"
We were both amazed when I either folded the passenger seat, or maybe I had removed the top part, had the ends of the poles in the passenger footwell, and maybe over the tee bar?, (was a long time ago), they hardly poked out the rear at all.
I also can transport full sized doors in my Stag.
Have to say though the occasion that I was most impressed with was a pair of stepladders fitting in my Vitesse Saloon, one end in the footwell, the other end just allowed me to close the boot lid. -
The previous owner of one of my Stags used it as the company transport - he used it to carry antique furniture on the back by tying it to the t-bar !Comment

I used to carry the wife out in mine however I couldn't stand the whining so left her at home. Found out later that it was the diff making all the noise

Similar load - 6 x 3m lengths of decking. Man in Travis Perkins said it was the best builder's van they had ever seen!

I just have my Escort van that i have had for years to pick up stuff - I wont be putting stuff like that in my Stag.
That being said i did pick up two tyre's for my dads Jag yesterday evening in the BMW and had one on the back seat (albeit) in a black bin liner
