Stag bodywork/welding specialist near Worcester or Birmingham?

Help - I need a good Stag welding and bodywork specialist in or around Worcester or Birmingham. Should have taken car for MOT tomorrow but checked out a little bubbling on the inner/outer sill to floor area and oh my god it's porous, full of filler and a bl***y mess.

i also have corrosion and bubbling on the front of rear wing to sill join, so I think I want to fit new outer sills, check/repair inner sills and any floor repairs including outriggers. I only want this done once and I think I need someone who knows Stags?

Anyone any experience of someone who can do such work? All help appreciated.

Ian, didn't you buy your car from a Stag specialist? I can thoroughly recommend MJR right next to the water ill. They did my MGBGT, they've done my mates cars including his E type. Ask for Mike or Kevin

i suspect the mobile welder advertising in the mag is the other half of that Stag specialist, don't know for sure though! But if my Stag is anything to go by, bargepole and nowhere near comes to mind. I am so hacked off.

i wish I could just take the plunge and properly bare shell it, but then I'll miss the summer. I'll try and pop down to MJR and Les from the club thinks he knows someone as well. Any other suggestions well received, bar the one we know!

Thanks for that, I currently have 2 options at present, 1 provided by Stanstag (I've visited them today and will take the Stag for them to look at on Tuesday), 2nd is an older contact in Coventry that does prototype work, metal forming and welding, but not a Stag specialist. Also have another SOC member who may have a third contact and now the Stag shop - Stagatha WILL get sorted!

Will see what happens Tuesday, but thanks everyone for their help.

Thanks for that, not too far if I get stuck so will see how Tuesday goes and may give them a call. Looks like next weeks SOC run/Drive it Day will be in the modern!
