    I thought it looked (dependant upon size, which isn't clear) like something from the heater unit - maybe part of the control box assembly.

    However, upon searching Drew's long running White/Blue Bavarian Stag thread, where he dismantled his unit completely, I can't see anything like that. Mind you, his isn't A/C.

        It looks very much like the backplate off my front door lock!
        Does your Stag have a Yale lock ?!

          We used to have fun throwing random a part in whilst someone was rebuilding an engine , seeing the fitters face moving the part about thinking where the hell does this go whilst everyone is sniggering .

            And I well remember, when someone was pumping up a Hydrolastic car (1100, some minis, Allegro Maxi,1800 etc) you'd go and chat to them and nonchalantly lean on the car. When they finished and measured up, you'd take your weight off and the car would bounce up another inch or so.

            Oh, did we laugh

                Aprox 21/2" x 3". looks like a backing plate for something electrical (not Yaleish. lol)
