Just finished the first stage of my "discreet" in car audio project. Can you see the difference to a standard Stag ?

Yes I know its not a close up but that would make it too easy, I will post some further pics if someone spots it

Nope - that may well be part of a future project, I do like the idea particularly as the vents don't seem to do anything anyway ! Would love to see some pics if anyone has any of this done ?

Would be great to see a single thread with pictures and details about audio upgrades in other Stags all in one place, scared I met get shot down my the purists for even suggesting such a thing

Dam ....yes the Bonnet is my new descreet speaker, Im not sure its been done before and I haven't driven it since so not sure if having to have the bonnet open while driving will obstruct my driving, It will certainly help with them not getting my picture when going through the speed cameras...

Keep guessing, its probably easier to think about what is not in the picture than what is, Ill post another a little later which will be a bit closer

I fitted my stereo amp and box yesterday and rewired the electric aerial that decided it was time for a wire to break down, I never spotted it from the pics well done.

Excellent Dazza. I've always thought that, as the ashtray was iPhone sized that it could make a good place to mount one.

How have you fixed yours ?

i used an iPod touch as I didn't need the phone capabilities and it was the 4th generation model. These are slightly smaller and allow room for the connector. The latest version fit better from a screen perspective but I struggled with the cable as it encroached into the heater control area.

i then just made a support frame behind the plastic fascia out of wood and then a piece of high density foam sits behind the iPod and infront of the metal frame that held the ashtray
