Front Strut Inserts

Still having an issue with fitting these.

Does anybody know what the thread is on the strut retaining ring? (The part with the 4 dimples in for unscrewing) I have removed the original but need to rethread the strut part.

Taking mine apart this weekend, provided i don't get killed by taking the springs off, should be able to tell you Sunday evening.

Taking springs off no problem with a spring compressor. Problem with removing the retaining ring. I nackered the thread in strut on one. Making a tool too replace new ones, need to be tight. Be interested to know how you get on with yours!
