Great program and a huge round of applause to all those who took part. The final result of the car is amazing and I hope whoever ends up with it looks after it.
As well as a sound vindication for British engineering but a bit damning for the car production. I guess one can now argue whether that was management or production faults. Water under the bridge but as it said at the end this is one "failed" car that now has a huge percentage of success and more returning to the road every year!
(Some with other engines one should embarrassingly add)
Its just a shame the film production team couldnt find any footage of the Triumph Stag engine production /assembly line just the Rover V8! Maybe thats the engine that should have been in the car(sorry
)

As well as Russ, and Tony, I also recognised Mike Allen and Mike Fisher (SOCTFL guys). As most of you have said, pretty sound conclusion and a good looking car. Doubt it will do much for us in the short term but who knows.
Well at least we all know.....Paul - 3 projects, 1 breaker - garage built and housing 2 white Stags. One runs, one doesn't

Excellent programme which, with the way i started I was tempted to switch off n disgust BUT it all came good in the end with Phil hopefully making even more people interested in buying one and keeping our fine cars alive!
Well done to Phil, the restorers and Channel 4 for giving a slot to the programme.Mike

Good final 5 mins which overcame the constant slagging during the first 45 mins of the programme.
I suppose the acid test is - if somebody was interested in buying a Stag at 8pm this evening, would he be more or less interested at 9pm?
My guess is that they would be more interested and willing to pay more for a car which is well sorted.
