brake lights

just been out for a drive with the roof down, lovely. when I got to a junction the guy behind me told me the brake lights were,nt showing. which when I got home checked and they are'nt. Side lights work OK, so i'm assuming its the brake pedal switch, before I put my back out, from memory is'nt it at the top of the brake pedal just under the dash, and if it's not that any suggestions, thanks

Yep thats where it is. Im on my second one since the rebuild. Broke one when trying to fix the wiper box.

Not hard to change the brake switch but worth checking you're not getting current at the bulbs - it's not unknown for two bulbs to fail

thanks julian. good point, i,ve ordered a new switch anyway, keep the other as spare if I can fix it, what's it like being a celeb now?

TBH I'm a bit embarrassed about it - they showed the 'bad' things I said but left out all of the good ones. Grrrrr
