    Porsche 911

    Triumph Herald (pt 1)

    This isn't a bad show.

I watched the Cortina GT one yesterday and it was a good story.

    Cheers

Thank you. I was looking for these last week and couldn't find any. I prefer this show to "For the love of cars".

I enjoyed watching a vw camper van resto. They had a nice blend of history , restoration and explanation of the drive train and suspension . It was great to see three generations in the van come the end . The owner had lots of problems health wise and it's amazing how a car can make life that much better .

          Edd,

I like CSOS better than the others for many reasons, some the same as yours. The most compelling is that it includes the stories of the people behind the cars. If CSOS can manage to fit in more about the car, it's restoration (showing some of the work actually being done) and then spent some time on the owners, it perhaps shows us that the producers are much better at their job too.

Yep love the show. The stories always seem to have someone who has an illness and can't finish the car

Would that fuel injection set up on pt 2 on the Herald work on the stag ?

                  You're welcome !

I had forgotten how well balanced this program is, plus they're clearly spending far more on these restorations than the cars are worth but what price the joy on the owners' faces ? I must admit I've had a moist eye at times watching the handover.

Fuzz seems a top bloke and not fazed by anything, seems to really know his stuff. So far this series Tim seems to be more respectful of Fuzz & with no unnecessary challenges. Both clearly have a real love of cars - nice !

Nice features too on the outsourced specialisms
