Stag Owners Pets

A post on another Forum about the recent loss of a pet dog brought back memories of the two Samoyeds that were part of our own family when we lived in North Wales, and who used to love going for rides in my Stag with the top down.

I believe there are quite a number of Forum members who have, or recently had pet dogs (and maybe other animals) regarded as family members, and maybe this thread could be used to say a few words about them and/or include a picture or two.

I'll start the ball rolling by posting a picture of “Sasha” and “Boushka” as passengers in my Stag shortly after I had acquired it in 1994, and also enjoying a lie down in something I now only see on top of Mount Teide - Snow.

Both are no longer with us and died before we emigrated, and living in an Apartment in Tenerife is not really a place to keep a pet.

Fancy having matching dogs, matching weather and matching Stag! They look a pair of real characters. My constant companion is Paddy, a 13 month old Cocker Spaniel. She's (yes, she's) coming part way to Le Mans with me in the Stag next month but staying at my sister in law's for a few days madness with her cousin, Blue, a Sheltie. However, next year we are planning to travel 1927 miles round Britain in my 1927 Morris Cowley which I am restoring. I bought it a few months ago and our fundraising "Mac and Paddy's Road to Nowhere" tour will hopefully raise loads of cash for Pancreatic Cancer UK and MacMillan Support as I gig and busk my way round the country in my late wife, Lyn's name.DSC_04505545545.jpg

Sadly Jake died 3 weeks ago but miss the Coon character so much we will be buying 2 Pedigree Coon kittens on our return from Canadian holidays....

They are two beautiful cats, Kryten. I assume they didn't travel in the Stag!

Daughters Pony, Border Collie, Cockateil, 2 Budgies, Tropical fish and now she's found 'a little black Frog' in the garden that we've named 'Evra' --Geddit Geddit

City Girl. Someone dumped her on the highway and we picked her up and got her back to health. She is queen of the castle and this is what she is best at.

It takes her ~ 1/2hr to finish playing with rats and when they stop moving she buries them alive. Moles and mice don't quite make it that long.

Baby Bunnies are a different story. She thinks she is their Mother
