Drove from Barrow to Shipton Bellinger on Wednesday evening. Then we went to Salisbury Racecoures on Thursday for an engagement party.

sunshine all day so a great photo opportunity. This car looks pretty nice in the Sunshine!

Just got home this evening sun still shining in Barrow!

A total of around 700 miles almost half done with the top down..... must remember to take my hat in future. A great trip got a bit hot and bothered whilst stuck on the M5 in standing traffic for half an hour...left the motorway as I think she would have blown her stack! Took a fast road trip through Kidderminster and along the A49 to Warrington and rejoined the M6 and then normal route north to home

Yes it was a great day. Its a long drive on the motorway for an old lady! On Wednesday we timed it perfectly and were able to travel without any hold ups. She was well happy at just over 70 (at 2700 or so in 5th gear) and was more than capable of a good bit more however there is a balance issue somewhere at those speeds and whilst the power is on its fine but as soon as you let off to slow down the vibration is uncomfortable to say the least.I suspect the prop shaft balance (because of the off load vibration rather than all the time) but it could be rear wheels as they havent been done in my ownership and they might start tramping when the drive load is taken off them. New tyres soon and then a rebalance. But altogether a good run out and a good "shake down"
We got it badly wrong on Friday so took a long detour to circumnavigate some of the carpark as we tried to get North again!
