New Headlights

Just fitting new outer headlights, old ones rusty and MOT booked this week.

Ordered standard RHD units from Rimmers.
New ones are twin filament lamps, old ones single.
Parts book shows the complete assembly with single filament.

I have seen a similar question on this forum somewhere about this. Can the second filament be connected in with inner lights?
Or i probably can use with one filament only.

Any ideas?

i have just done the same thing last week,but only connected one filament up,you can use both filaments if you want, but your need to add a relay in the lighting circuit

Just need to work out which 2 connections. But I am an electrician!
